What artworks made an impression on me? The first one was the Dan Flavin untitled. It did so because the nature of the piece almost demands attention with its light display and ability to distort the viewers visual reality. The second was Convex, Concave| Dimensional by Richard Joseph Anuszkiewicz. This made an impression on me because of it's ability to make the viewer become mesmerized while looking at this piece. The way the texture gradient works to make an optical illusion certainly makes a lasting impression on any viewer. What artworks do you feel a connection with? The two artworks I felt a connection with were the Piet Mondrian and the Jackson Pollock. I grouped these together because I felt connected with them for the same reason, the relevance and impact that these artists had on the world of art and being able to physically see their art was special and makes me feel connected with those famous artists while I'm viewing their art.
